The Icelandic Biology Conference

We all attended the Icelandic Biology Conference last week. Kristján Hólm Grétarsson, a master's student in our lab won a poster award for his poster on the long range interactions of IRF4 in Waldenstöm's macroglobulinaemia cell lines comparing them to melanoma cell lines. Congratulations Kristján!

Kimberley also had a poster and Erna gave a presentation. Overall a great experience.

Our research is supported by the Icelandic Research Fund administered by RANNÍS as well as the Science fund of the Icelandic Cancer Society/Krabbameinsfélagið.

Our lab is a part of the University of Iceland BioMedical Center, BMC.

We are a part of an initiative to gather Icelandic biology terms into the Word Bank run by the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic studies.
